Alternative Justice is a transnational collective of practitioners supporting people, organisations & movements in the work of conflict, harm and repair. Our practice draws on restorative and transformative justice to create alternatives to punitive systems. What matters to us is being able to stay with the mess and still move towards connection, accountability and the possibility of a world beyond cages.

What We Offer

What we offer grows from a commitment to restorative and transformative justice. We support individuals and collectives in the thick of conflict, in spaces of shared learning, and in the slower work of building structures that hold repair and possibility beyond carceral logics.

Long-term Support for Collectives & Organisations

We support individuals and groups navigating conflict or harm by holding space for what feels too heavy to carry alone. This might mean supporting two people in tension, or helping a group move through a difficult moment.

We facilitate workshops and learning spaces that build skills for navigating conflict, harm, accountability and repair. These spaces are grounded in practice and connection, inviting us to experiment together with ways of living beyond punishment.

We offer long-term support for collectives and organisations who want to ground themselves in practices of restorative and transformative justice. This means moving slowly, building structures that can hold conflict, interrupt carceral patterns, and nurture accountability over time.

Support Us

Alternative Justice is not formally funded. We are nurturing a living practice where people come together to learn and support one another. This work grows from everyone who joins, shares their experience or contributes in any way. Your support, big or small, helps keep this space alive and we are deeply grateful for it.

Upcoming Stuff

This is a small, slow group for six people, gathering over four Saturdays. We’ll turn inwards to the places in us that conflict touches.
